(Park City-AP) -- Everybody knows about the skiing, but could Park City become home to America's rugby team?

Folks in Park City acknowledge it's a long shot. But they've tossed their name in the hat anyway.

The national rugby team, based in California, and the national rugby association, based in Colorado, are looking to combine their operations under one roof.

Park City leaders say the 2002 Winter Olympics have proven that the mountain resort town can host big events and big teams.

U-S-A Rugby hasn't decided where it will move yet, but Park City's name is on the list.
