(KSL TV) Elaine Cannon, a former General Young Women's President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has died.
Cannon served in that position from 1978 to 1984.
She was also a Deseret News society editor and popular teen columnist, as well as an author, and TV and radio personality.
And for a time she hosted her own program on KSL.
Elaine Cannon was 81.
