This time a truck driver, who in the early morning hours ended upside down in the river.

The deadly accident occurred early this morning about 20 miles up Spanish Fork Canyon on Highway Six.

The driver of a semi truck was heading eastbound when he some how lost control of the truck, just before 4 am. this morning. The truck rolled and eventually went into the river. No other cars were involved. A passerby who just happened to be kayaking and a had a wet suit, went into the river trying to look for victims. However, eventually it was discovered that the driver of the truck was still in the cab of the truck, which was submerged in the river. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident took several hours to clean up and traffic was delayed for several hours as well.

The identity of the victim has still not been released and investigators at this point are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.

This is just the latest fatal accident on Highway Six in Spanish fork canyon, and Highway Patrol Troopers say drivers need to be cautious, patient and alert while driving this stretch of road.
