Sammy Linebaugh Reporting...Tickets for the John Stockton Celebration will be available tomorrow. They are free, but first you’ve got to get one.

The big retirement party happens at the Delta Center June 7th. Albertson's supermarkets will be distributing tickets starting tomorrow. But expect big lines -- there are only 20-thousand to go around.

Grant Harrison/Jazz VP Promotions and Game Operations: "STARTING TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY AT FOUR O'CLOCK YOU'LL BE ABLE TO GO INTO ALBERTSONS TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND ASK FOR YOUR TICKET TO THE SALUTE TO STOCKTON CELEBRATION AT THE DELTA CENTER.”

About 25 Albertson’s stores from Logan to St. George will distribute a maximum of four tickets per person over the age of 18. The tickets are free of charge, and seating is general admission.

Grant Harrison/Jazz VP Promotions and Game Operations: "THIS TICKET IS GOOD TO GET YOU IN, IT'S A SOUVENIER TICKET THAT YOU CAN KEEP AND HOLD. THE TICKET HAS A LITTLE STUB ON IT FOR A FREE COKE AND HOT DOG."

Much like playoff time, “JumboTron” screens will be set up outside starting at 4:00 p.m., with clowns, face painting part of the party. The actual tribute and fireworks show get underway at six.

Fans who plan to attend, say they wouldn't miss the chance to say farewell.

Shannon Walter/Stockton Fan: "JOHN STOCKTON HAS BEEN SUCH AN INTEGRAL PART OF SPORTS IN UTAH AND HAS SUCH A HUGE FOLLOWING I THINK IT'S REALLY APPROPRIATE."

John Stockton himself is expected to speak at the event. Other dignitaries, Governor Leavitt, local mayors, Jazz Owner Larry Miller and Karl Malone are also expected to speak and possibly some former Jazz players.
