(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The U-S Department of Agriculture is offering to help Utah farmers and ranchers who adopt new water-saving measures.

The U-S-D-A's Natural Resource Conservation Service is accepting applications for the program this week.

The voluntary programs offer cost-sharing and incentive payments for those who use water conservation practices on eligible agricultural and tribal lands.

Farmers and ranchers can contact their local U-S-D-A service center for details on the program.
