Sam Penrod reportingPolice are searching for two men who pulled off a violent home invasion robbery in Orem this morning.
The men barged into an apartment looking for money and a wallet they claimed was stolen from them at a party last night.
No one was seriously hurt, but those inside the apartment were shaken up, as their lives were threatened at knifepoint.
The two suspects barged into a Orem apartment around 8:15 this morning. There was a party at the apartment complex last night and the two suspects claimed someone in this apartment had stolen their wallet. They forced their way in, eventually getting away with 140 dollars. The robbery victims say they had no idea about the lost wallet and believe it was a ruse to get in the door and rob them.
Police are looking for two black men, in their 20's who were seen leaving the apartment complex in a green Astro van.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Orem Police Dept.
