(KSL TV) What's the best country song?
It's Tammy Wynette's 1968 classic "Stand by Your Man" -- at least according to the experts polled by C-M-T. Country Music Television is out its list of the top 100 songs of country music.
Wynette's former husband and duet partner George Jones has the number-two song, "He Stopped Loving Her Today." But he's not upset. Jones says Wynette's signature song "belongs where it is."
Others in the top-five include Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams.
The list was revealed last night at a concert on the eve of Nashville's Fan Fair.
