(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Utah roads are getting some help from the federal government.
The state was approved for $10.5 million in federal highway funds today.
US Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta announced the discretionary funds to help improve highway infrastructure in the state.
The grants include nine million dollars for the I-15 reconstruction project. The U-S 191 project in Grand County and the Commuter Link Project in Davis and Utah counties also received funding.
