(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Anyone in Utah can get a free, confidential test for H-I-V this Friday.
Health departments around the state are coordinating the effort help diagnose infections of the virus that causes AIDS.
The state health department says around 200-thousand people in this country are infected with H-I-V but don't know it.
Times and locations for the free and confidential tests are available from local health departments across Utah. No appointments are needed.
Health officials say testing for H-I-V is important to control AIDS and prevent its spread.
