CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Eight to 10 pounds of cocaine and amphetamines were found in a traffic stop on Interstate 15 in Cedar City, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

Pablo Jesus Martinez-Inguez, 25, West Valley City, consented to a vehicle search after he was pulled over late Monday for lane violations, UHP Sgt. Kevin Olson said.

A police drug dog indicated drugs were in the car and when the back seat was removed, the drugs were found.

Iron/Garfield County Drug Task Force Commander David Excell estimated the drugs' street value at about $453,000.

Olson said there was no indication from Inguez where he came from or where he was going.

Inguez was booked into the Iron County Jail for investigation of various drug violations.
