(KSL News) -- A new device to track your kids is finally hitting Utah stores. They're G-P-S watches that fit a child's wrist.

We found these at Simply Wireless, a store in Draper. They just got their first shipment in.

The watches allow you to find your kids, using satellite and internet technology. They lock on a wrist, and if they're removed forcibly without a key, they automatically dial 9-1-1. Right now they come in purple and blue, weigh about 8-ounces, and cost just under 400-dollars.

Doug Brock, Simply Wireless: "IT'S A GREAT PARENTING TOOL TO HELP YOU. ITS DESIGNED SO YOU CAN WATCH YOUR KID, YOU CAN HAVE THE SAFETY OF KNOWING WHERE THEY ARE"

We watched the "watch" in action. Using a website, and g-p-s, the satellite pulled up a locator map, and pinpointed us almost exactly where we were.

The watches fit most kids ages 4 to 12 years old.
