Sammy Linebaugh ReportingAfter spending over 24 hours lost in the Utah wilderness, four Boy Scouts and their two leaders have been found safe and sound.

All six were part of a group of scouts that went camping in the Deep Creek Mountains in an area called Basin Creek Canyon on Wednesday. They had gone out on an extended hike, leaving the other younger scouts and their leaders at the base camp.

The group was supposed to return yesterday around two o’clock. When they didn't, search crews were called out. The group was spotted by the Utah Department of Public Safety's helicopter on Haystack Peak just before sundown.
