A speeding motorist cut in front of a Jeep this afternoon on I-15 causing a death before driving away.
As the Jeep's driver tried to avoid a collision, she lost control, ran into the median, and rolled over.
She is in critical condition. Her passenger is dead. Neither was wearing a seatbelt and they were thrown from the car.
Witnesses of the accident, at about 1600 North, say the speeding black Volkswagon Jetta that cut in front of the Jeep, sped away.
Police are looking for that car and are asking anyone with information about the Jetta to call UHP.
