A Salt Lake City business was evacuated Thursday after a chemical spill.
About 30 gallons of sulfuric acid spilled onto the parking lot of 'Water Recovery Sciences'. The owner was moving the acid from one container to another. In the process, the acid mixed with another chemical and caused a reaction.
The business evacuated five workers. The others were out to lunch at the time.
Sulfuric acid, if inhaled, can cause breathing problems. No one was injured and no nearby businesses had to be evacuated.
