(KSL News) Firefighters made a strong attack this morning on a raging wildfire in Southern Idaho.
The Harkness fire started yesterday afternoon near McCammon and quickly spread.
It jumped Highway 30...and moved towards Lava Hot Springs....spreading to more than 45-hundred acres.

The highway was closed, but is now re-opened...and people can get to their homes.
One home...and several barns and sheds were destroyed...others were threatened.
The fire is now 50-percent contained.
A transient told police he started the fire. He's now in custody.
