(KSL News) -- The F.B.I. is scouring the Denver area for the man suspected of taking a 15-year old Sandy girl across state lines.

Crystal Leslie was dropped off for summer school at Valley High School last Friday. Police say she instead ran away with her former neighbor, 38-year old Christopher Speaks.

Federal agents, Sandy detectives and the National Center for Misssing and Exploited children are trying to track the two down.

Police say there are allegations Speaks sexually abused the teen in the past, and emphasize the importance of finding her.

It is believed the two have colored their hair to alter their appearance, but police say they have several good leads.
