Karen Scullin ReportingA man wanted for shooting three people overnight is now in the Salt Lake County Jail.
This story has a bit of a twist. Instead of one gang firing on another, this time a gang member allegedly tried to kill members of his own gang.
Yellow tags mark the evidence left behind after a triple shooting. Twenty five-year old Taddy Jackman is accused of firing at his fellow gang members as they sat inside a vehicle.
Lt. Tim Doubt, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: “The occupants became involved in an argument, one of the occupants exited the vehicle and fired at least eight rounds at the vehicle."
Three of them were hit; two drove off for medical help.
Lt. Tim Doubt, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: “Two of them fled in the suburban. It was involved in a hit and run accident at 700 North Redwood on their way to the hospital."
The third victims called his friends. They brought him to a house on Iola Street where he apparently gave police a phony story about what happened.

But officers realized all three incidents were connected and quickly started searching for a suspect. Taddy Jackman was arrested late this morning. After the shooting two of the victims were in serious condition, one critical.
