(KSL News) -- Fire crews are fighting a blaze that started today in the foothills above Centerville. The Forest Service says the fire has blackened 50 acres.

Crews are attacking from land and by air. They have the fire contained on three sides but are afraid it could flare up again because of shifting winds and hot temperatures.

The fire came close to some homes at one point, but no one has been evacuated.

Police say the fire was started by three teenagers who were playing with smoke bombs in the hills.
