(KSL News) -- Police have released surveillance pictures, of the weekend burglary at the Department of Motor Vehicles in South Salt Lake.

Investigators hope these images will help identify the suspect.

But, as you can see, it's going to be difficult to make out any distinguishing features.

The burglar got away with -100-thousand dollars in cash and checks ... inside two safes he took from the building.

The DMV now says there were no registration stickers inside the safes.
