PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A recently completed study shows that two-thirds of Provo residents want a new recreation center in the city.

The new center would cost about $33 million to build. The feasibility study recommends building a new recreation center in North Park, where the Veterans Pool is.

If city officials agree, the new recreation center could replace existing recreation centers at Provo High, the Eldred Senior Center and The Center, a teen-oriented gathering place.
