(KSL News) – Firefighters are working to fight a fire north of Green River for the fourth day in a row.
The 'Joe Hatch fire'--named after a nearby canyon--is burning in steep, rugged terrain in the Desolation Canyon wilderness Study area.
Firefighters say progress on putting the flames out is slow, but the nearest structures are six miles away.
So far 250 acres have burned in the area.
The fire was started by a lightning strike on Saturday.
