(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Newton Reservoir in Cache County is drying up in the drought.
The reservoir is only about six percent full.
State wildlife officials have doubled the fishing limits on the lake. They say they might as well allow fishermen to catch the fish before they perish in the low water.
Anglers can now keep a dozen bass and up to 16 catfish. The old limits go back into effect in January.
