(KSL News) -- Troopers shut down traffic for several hours at the mouth of Parley's Canyon because of a deadly roll over this afternoon.
Authorities say a pick-up towing a car rolled into oncoming traffic as it merged onto the I-80 East ramp. That caused two other cars to crash.
The driver of one of those cars, Cash Johnson of Sandy, died instantly. Six more people were injured in the accident, including 4 young children.
Investigators say speed could have been a factor.
