(KSL News) -- A semi hauling a load of cold beer up Parley's Canyon crashed when the trailer came off of the tractor today before noon.
State Troopers say the semi was headed up I-80 East when it crashed about a mile before Lamb's Canyon. The driver and witnesses say the trailer started to come off, it careened into a tanker truck then landed in the center lane.
Traffic was backed up more than four miles for three hours while crews cleared the mess.
The driver of the semi was cited for not having the trailer secured.
