(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A woman whose 22-month old boy was found to have methamphetamine in his system has been charged with child endangerment.
Britania C. Stone, age 19, was arrested at a child custody hearing in Salt Lake City yesterday. She's facing a felony charge for the treatment of her son, who also was found to be malnourished.
The baby's grandmother took him to the hospital one night when she was baby-sitting. The child was restless and wouldn't go to sleep. Doctors at the hospital did tests and found the child had methamphetamine in his system.
Police don't know how the boy ingested the stimulant.
The suspect also goes by the name Tanner Stone.
