(KSL News) -- The Sandy couple accused of kidnapping their cancer patient son may be a step closer to returning to Utah. Closed-door talks are apparently underway between the Jensens and the state.
A lawyer for the family says they'll return to Utah, if the state drops the felony kidnapping charges. They also want their son, Parker, to remain in their custody. Then they'll agree with the state on a treatment for the boy.
The Jensens have been on the run since the state ordered that the boy undergo chemotherapy.
