(KSL News) – The party is in full swing at The 28th annual Greek Festival this afternoon in downtown.
Lots of Greek food, music, and dancing. From roasted lamb, to many rich desserts, festival organizers say everyone's invited.
Perry Drossos, Greek Orthodox Church: "THE PURPOSE OF THE GREEK FESTIVAL IS TO IS TO BRING THE SALT LAKE COMMUNITY TO OUR CULTURE AND HAVE THEM EXPERIENCE WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT BE IT FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT... HAVING A GOOD TIME AS WELL AS OUR RELIGION... AND THE WONDERFUL MUSEUM WE HAVE HER DATING BACK TO THE 1800s."
Festival goers say most people come for the food, and the food will be great again this year.
The Greek Festival runs until 10 o'clock Sunday night at 300 South and 300 West.
