(KSL News) A semi-truck that failed to stop at a weigh station in northern Utah created a hazmat scare Monday night near Brigham City.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers stopped the semi-truck in Perry and noticed a strong chemical smell.
Hazmat crews were called in, and determined the smell was from a leaking, non-hazardous liquid.
The driver was allowed to go on, but not before being cited for not stopping at the weigh-station and for not having a proper cargo list.
