DRAPER -- eBay is making plans to expand its operation in Draper, creating jobs for a third time this year. The online giant is adding 207 jobs this time around -- that's on top of 250 since May.
The state of Utah is giving eBay $2 million, but only after the auction site generates an estimated $8.5 million to the state.
"We don't ever pay the dime until we get the dollar," said Derek Miller, managing director of the Governor's Office of Economic Development.
Miller said the jobs are good customer service positions.
"Over 125 percent of the county average wage," he said.
eBay's total expansions are expected to eventually generate $125 million in sales taxes.
