(KSL News) -- A 31-year old motorcycle rider was killed this morning in the Sugarhouse area when he was hit by a car.
The car turned at an intersection, and apparently didn't see the oncoming motorcycle.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and protective pads.
Police say morning sunshine and shadows may have played a role in the crash.
