(Moab-AP) -- Five suspects are in police custody today after a burglary in South Dakota.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the suspects took a safe, and large amount of weapons, cash, and jewelry from a businessman in Mitchell, South Dakota in what they describe as a 'substantial burglary'.
Police say the five stole a car in South Dakota and ditched it in Colorado where they bought a new one and switched the tags.
The Utah Highway Patrol spotted the car at the East Green River exit of Interstate-70 around nine last night and made the bust.
Three of the suspects are male and are being held in the Grand County Jail.
Two suspects are female and are in a juvenile facility in Price.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and are processing the evidence.
