(Logan-AP) -- A prescribed burn set for today in Boulder Mountain near Logan is being pushed back to Friday.
U-S Forest Service officials say high temperatures and low humidity today are delaying the burn.
They expect a storm front to move in Thursday which would bring up the moisture levels, making for better conditions for the prescribed burn.
Meanwhile, a prescribed burn in the Ashley National Forest has jumped a fire line and spread from a thousand acres to 15-hundred acres.
Ashley National Forest officials say they're not concerned about the fire because it's actually doing a lot of good to burn the brush.
They say they're patrolling the area and monitoring the situation.
