(KSL News) -- A climber is recovering this afternoon after a fall in Rock Canyon.
Roger Harrelson was free climbing with his girlfriend north of the area known as the "kitchen."
They were not equipped with appropriate climbing gear and witnesses say they were very high when Harrelson fell.
Ian Bearry, Found Fallen Climber: "THE GIRLFRIEND SAYS HE WAS KIND OF UPSIDE DOWN HANGING FROM A BUSH. SHE DRAGGED HIM TO A PLATFORM. THEN SHE CLIMBED DOWN AND THAT'S WHEN SHE FOUND US."
The woman called rescue crews, who brought the climber down on a stretcher.
