SALT LAKE CITY -- Congressman Jim Matheson will have to defend his seat next year.

Self-proclaimed "reform-minded" independent Dave Glissmeyer announced plans to run for the 2nd Congressional District. Glissmeyer is the first person to enter the race against Matheson.

He says he plans to use only individual donations, including $25,000 of his own money.
