(KSL News) -- An accident has shut down access to I-215 from Parley's Canyon.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers say the driver of a semi took the ramp too fast, causing the truck to overturn. That was around noon.
The ramp, which runs from westbound I-80 to southbound I-215, is still closed.
The accident severely damaged the top of the semi, forcing crews to offload the 45-thousand pounds of lettuce being transported inside. Once that is done, they'll be able to tow the truck off the ramp and reopen it to traffic.
Officials are estimating that to be sometime between 6 and 6:30.
