PARK CITY -- A police officer in Park City has been named Utah's top school resource officer.
The Utah Council for Crime Prevention honored Officer Ed Clouse for keeping schools safe and for his efforts to be a role model for children.
School administrators nominated him because he increases school security by getting to know students and by being accessible.
One unique aspect of his assignment, Clouse works the elementary school where his own children are students.
