SALT LAKE CITY, UT (AP) -- Salt Lake City voters approved five of six bond issues on yesterday's ballot.
They narrowly rejected -- by a vote of just 19-thousand, 831 to 19-thousand, 574 -- Proposition Three, which would have provided branch libraries in Glendale and the west Capitol area.
They approved bonds for Hogle Zoo renovation, a science-culture-art center, preserving open space, improving Tracy Aviary and creating a sports complex.
