(KSL News) -- The investigation continues into the fatal shooting of a Salt Lake City man Friday night.
23-year old Juan Ruiz was shot and killed after a 45 minute standoff with Salt Lake City police. Investigators say Ruiz fired the first shot, then was hit by one of the officers who returned fire.
It all began when police received a call about a suicidal man, identified as Ruiz, sitting in a car with a gun.
There were six officers involved in the shooting and they have been put on administrative leave pending the investigation.
