(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The Olympic bribery trial resumes this morning.

Federal Judge David Sam postponed the trial yesterday amid revelations that the prosecution's star witness may have pocketed bid committee funds.

Olympic bid leaders Tom Welch and Dave Johnson are accused of bribing International Olympic Committee delegates to lure the 2002 Winter games to Utah.

Rod Hamson was to take the stand for his fifth day of testimony Thursday. But Wednesday, defense lawyers introduced documents showing the bid committee's finance director was reimbursed for an I-O-C member's plane ticket and other documents showing he'd already been reimbursed for that expense.

If it's true, the new allegations would undermine the government's case against Welch and Johnson.
