SALT LAKE CITY -- Police are searching for three men who robbed a Salt Lake City homeowner at gunpoint.

Investigators say the robbers wore bandannas over their faces when they slipped inside an unlocked door at a home near 900 East and 1700 South around midnight.

They pointed a gun at the homeowner, who was in bed, and demanded drugs.

Lt. Brian Purvis of the Salt Lake City Police Department says, "He told them they didn't have any. They made several more demands, but when he didn't produce any drugs they took the Nintendo game system and cell phone and left."

Police used dogs to search for the robbers but did not find them.
