(Lake Shore-AP) -- A house fire in Utah County that may have started in a wood stove killed a man and woman who had been married 75 years.
Frederick Shepherd, 95, died Friday when his Lake Shore house caught fire. Marie Shepherd, 91, died yesterday at the Intermountain Burn Center in Salt Lake City.
The fire is under investigation.
Sergeant Dennis Harris of the Utah County Sheriff's Office said the fire started around noon Friday. Harris said the state fire marshal is concentrating his investigation on the home's wood stove amid speculation a burning log many have rolled out.
