SAN ANTONIO -- Feb. 28, 1999 is no longer the last date the Jazz were able to pull out a victory in San Antonio.
After 20 straight road losses to the Spurs, the Jazz (6-6) took the monkey off their back and threw it into the River Walk with a 90-83 win over San Antonio.
The previous win came ten years, eight months and 22 days ago. Gas prices were $0.95 per gallon (who wouldn't like to see that again) and the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 10,000 for the first time ever (March 29, 1999).

And play as a team they did, offensively combining for 26 assists and defensively holding the Spurs to only 20% shooting from three point range (43% from the field).
The Spurs (4-6) were playing without Tony Parker or Manu Ginobili.
