(St. George-AP) -- A former Springdale city manager is out on 20-thousand dollars bail.
A warrant was issued for Glenn Hill's arrest on Tuesday. The 53-year old was booked into jail Wednesday and released on bail several hours later.
Hill is accused of taking more than 150-thousand dollars and is facing second-degree felony charges of misusing public money and embezzlement.
Court documents allege that from July 2001 to June 2002, Hill paid himself an unauthorized amount of 46-thousand 20 dollars. The documents also allege that from July 2002 to July 2003, Hill paid himself an unauthorized amount of 107-thousand, 827 dollars.
Hill waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He and the former town clerk were fired in July 2003.
