(KSL News) – Governor Walker launched a new program today to address the challenges and opportunities growth brings to Utah.
The Governor signed an executive order officially starting the Quality Growth Communities Program.
Cities, towns, countries, special districts and transit authorities can apply for the program.
The eligible communities will get recognition and priority for state funding.
The goal is to encourage a more efficient use of state and local resources while trying to protect natural resources and meeting economic and population growth needs.
