Robert McKay was found dead after he dialed 911 for help. He was shot three times just inside his own doorway.
Family members--who lived next door-- say McKay had a kind heart and was always trying to help people.
Don McKay, Victim's Brother: "He associated with different people that needed help at times and whatever, and gave them money, type of person."
Police have been on scene today gathering evidence. Investigators believe McKay and the suspect probably knew each other, but exactly how they were connected is unclear.
