(KSL News) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints may have hit a snag in the lease for Martin's Cove.

The BLM says it will be a struggle to complete an environmental assessment and take public comment on the lease by the end of April. That's the deadline set in a bill signed last year by President Bush authorizing the 25 year lease.

Martin's Cove is an area in central Wyoming where many Mormon pioneers froze or starved to death in 1856 on their way to Utah.
