(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The Utah Supreme Court will have the final say on whether employers have the right to ban guns from company parking lots.

The state's highest court heard arguments from both sides yesterday after three former America Online employees sued the company for wrongful termination.

AOL fired the men in September 2000 for transferring guns among their vehicles in the company's parking lot at the Ogden call center.

Utah state law allows employers to ban guns from their workplace. But the court will rule whether that extends to the company's parking lots.

The court took the case under advisement.
