(Ogden-AP) -- The mother of a soldier killed in Iraq will be able to attend her son's funeral.

Juan Carlos Cabral's mother Angela has been in jail since January Fourth when an officer discovered methamphetamine in the car she was driving. She maintains her innocence and says she was borrowing the car.

A judge has given Cabral's mother permission to attend her son's funeral in Ogden Wednesday, but she must return to the jail immediately following the services.

Cabral was a mechanic with Company A of the 4th Forward Support Battalion based out of Fort Hood, Texas. He and two other soldiers were killed when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
