(KSL News) A woman tries to violate her parole, leads police on a chase, and ends up leaving a big mess at a Salt Lake City home.
Police say they arrested Jennifer Craven in September and she was released from jail at the beginning of the year. She was put on an electronic monitoring system.
Last night she tried to cut that electronic ankle braclet off.
When deputies spotted her, she took off in her car and eventually crashed into a garage at 1100 E. Zenith Avenue.
Lt. Rusty Isakson/ Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "When it finished, the suspect got out of the car, was pounding on the door when we first found her here."
Fortunately, no one was home, so no one is hurt. Damage is estimated at more than $10,000.
