(KSL News) -- One Utah legislator is continuing her fight to have contraceptives covered by health insurance.
The bill would prohibit plans that cover other prescription drugs, but not prescription birth control pills and devices.
It would prevent insurance companies from charging higher co-payments than the pills actually cost.
Supporters say the measure would save Utahns thousands of dollars each year.
This is the sixth attempt to get the bill passed.
